Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2: 9-11
Praise You, our Heavenly Father for...
...keeping our home and family safe during the last week and giving us the knowledge to prevent our computer from catching fire.
...my husband's ability to be "Mr Fixit", and that he actually keeps items to enable him to fix things cheaply.
...my husband, who has been working really hard since we finished homeschooling for the year - does that ever happen, that is finishing homeschooling for the year, as learning continues to happen every day, not just during the "school year".
...our friend, Janice, and her daughter are coming up tomorrow for a couple of days rest and relaxation.
... it is school holidays, giving us the ability to spend more time in fellowship with God and in doing the chores that get somewhat neglected during the school year, and to rest and recharge our minds and bodies.
...His Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ who came to this earth in the form of God/man, was born, lived a sinless life, was crucified and resurrected - all to save His people from their sins, and to restore our fellowship with God, the Father. What an amazing sacrifice our Heavenly Father made just for us!
... our children, who are becoming very helpful around our home, taking on extra chores so that we all find time to rest these holidays.
... friends - blogging friends, internet friends and IRL friends, whose friendships I value highly, and who help us to become more like Jesus in our walk with Him.
...warmer weather, so that we can spend the time outdoors, closer to God's Creation.

May we, as Christians, unite this Christmas to keep the focus on our Lord and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, showing the world our true Christian spirit, and mirror His love toward all.
