It's Beginning to feel a lot like...

...Christmas

Father, Son & Holy Spirit
Christmas Cards & Trimmings

Nativity Scene

Our children have been having the time of their lives today, rediscovering Christmas' past, and have decorated our home with tinsel, found the candles and table centre and have really enjoyed making this a special time of year, when we remember the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

The centrepiece of our table has special significance for us, as it reminds us of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and also reminds us that we are to be a light to the world, and a city that is set upon a hill cannot be hid.

The nativity scene usually goes on a Christmas tree, and was given to us by a very special friend from Tumby Bay when our children were very small. We have decided not to erect the Christmas tree because the cats would find it absolutely irresistible - maybe next year???

We went grocery shopping today, and bought some extra special gifts for our friend in Adelaide, and my daughter and I still have to make some Tim Tam Balls to add to her gift. The turkey roll is cooked, and the lamb roast is merrily cooking away "as we speak". Everything is nearly ready for the day of celebration...

Thank you for your support, conversations and friendship over the last twelve months, and...

May the Lord grant you a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Hi Devildogwife,
We had a wonderful Christmas - reading Scripture and reflecting on what the birth of Jesus actually means to us.

We also watched a sermon on the God Channel on The Paradoxes of Christmas - it was great!

Have a wonderful week,
Blessings,
Jillian
