Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart -
Nought be all else to me, save that Thou art;
Thou my best thought, by day or by night -
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise -
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart -
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
High King of Heven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven's joy, O bright heav'n's Son!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
Nought be all else to me, save that Thou art;
Thou my best thought, by day or by night -
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise -
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart -
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
High King of Heven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven's joy, O bright heav'n's Son!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

This would have to be my favourite piece of poetry, hymn and praise song. Its words have such depth of meaning, and it speaks to my ♥.
Today has been such a busy day, and our friend, Janice, and her daughter are here for the next couple of days. We had a wonderful day today catching up, and tomorrow, well who knows what tomorrow will bring. Janice's daughter and my daughter have had such fun with the goat kids, and singing, laughing and watching Smile of a Child on free-to-air Satellite TV. This station is excellent, and you won't find anything of objectionable content on it.
Tonight we had Quiche and salad, followed by Bread and Butter pudding and ice-cream, and it was absolutely delicious. Now, I will bid you all a very good night; see you tomorrow, and may all your dreams come from God.

That's my very favourite hymn of all time! Love the words; love the music.
Hi Ganeida,
